Yin Yoga Teacher Training
with Tori DePaulo & Shannon Schwartz
Yin Yoga is a meditative, soothing, slow-paced style of yoga. Different from its yang-style counterparts, the yin practice works the connective tissues of the body rather than engaging muscles — and is therefore a cooling practice. Poses are held typically from 1 - 8 minutes, with long periods of quiet for an overall meditative and relaxing experience.
Students taking this course will learn the foundational elements of creating and leading a yin yoga class (or their own practice), including guiding students into poses, the use of props, appropriate timing and sequencing, breath work, elements of meditation, and a basic understanding of the subtle energy body, energy channels, and associated chakra system. Elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine will be explored.
This workshop is appropriate for yoga teachers or students with some yoga knowledge who are looking to deepen and expand their yoga practice. 15 CEU hours available through Yoga Alliance.
Date/Time: May 10 (5pm-8pm), May 11 (10:30-6pm), May 12 (11-2pm)
Fee: $350 if registered before 5/1/24, $400 after 5/1/24

a Yoga Workshop
with Sarah Shea Yoga
Explore healthy options to deal with stress, dive deeper into yourself to understand bad habits, and enjoy a safe space for meditation and gentle movement.
Sarah Shea is an Allentown-based yoga instructor who began her yoga journey in 2018. Just one year later, she started teaching, and she recently received her 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate from Samyak Yoga in India. Combining this with her already earned 200-hour, she is a fully certified 500-hour yoga instructor specializing in Vinyasa, Hot Yoga, Hatha, Yin, and Yoga Nidra. She loves introducing people to yoga and guiding others on their paths. The inner journey you take during practice is just as important as the physical postures, so she always has an emphasis on navigating emotions and understanding your own mental space in a safe, inclusive way. She teaches all over the Lehigh Valley with a wide variety of classes and workshops, including yoga studios, gyms, and local cafés, restaurants, and non-profits.

Drum Circle with the Strawberry Moon
with Catherine Campanaro
The June moon is known as the Strawberry Moon or the Honey Moon. The strawberry moon is seen as a symbol of love, purity, and prosperity. It is a time to savor life's sweetness and connect with the love and abundance surrounding us. Because strawberries are associated with the heart chakra, this full moon may encourage you to express more compassion for yourself and others as you actively pursue your plans. Whether you see it as a time of celebration, reflection, or transformation, the strawberry moon is a powerful reminder that we are all part of something greater than ourselves. Is there something in your life that you would like to attract or to let go of?
Come and drum with us as we celebrate our connections through manifestation, meditation, and prayer.
Catherine Campanaro bio...
Catherine is a trained Remo HealthRhythms ® Facilitator. She also received drum circle facilitation training from Jim Donovan. Catherine offers drum circles for community building, relaxation, and overall health. It has been proven that drumming promotes the production of
endorphins, the body’s own painkillers, allowing for alleviation from pain and grief. It induces deep relaxation which in turn boosts the immune system. Drumming creates a sense of connectedness, it connects your body and mind with the natural world, it provides a way to access your higher power and allows for personal transformation. Drumming uplifts us during darkness, when we yearn for common ground, and when we need each other most. Music gets through where words do not pass, when barriers separate us, and when the odds are against us. Drumming releases negative feelings and makes you happy. Participating in a drum circle leaves you in the present moment. Catherine has a passion for creating Sacred Space, Recovery and the 12 Steps, Dream Work and Contemplation. She is also a Certified Celebrant and performs life event celebrations. She is a volunteer for Synchronicity Recovery.
